Stop by as we delve into the “indication of typical geography” tier of Italian wines. Created in 1992, IGTs were intended to provide a tier above basic table wine that allowed producers more exploration and creativity in their winemaking. We’ll sample a variety of wines across this classification and admire the excellent quality that can exist outside the traditional methods and varietal stipulations of a region.
