The Washington State Food Truck Association, LLC, was officially launched in April of 2015, as a member services organization. They advocate on behalf of all their mobile food members to help them succeed in this very competitive industry. They aim to serve as a central hub of communication & information, an event & catering referral source, offer food truck management programs, and provide local and state-level proactive lobbying and advocacy.
They work to educate venue & event hosts on logistics and fees. They can help to negotiate special pricing and discounts from product and service providers on behalf of their members. And, they can provide resources and assistance to help new, and prospective new food truck operators get started.
Founder and Executive Director, Lori Johnson, officially launched this small business industry association in April of 2015, as an advocacy organization, hoping to help food trucks succeed in this very competitive industry. She also works to provide guidance to municipalities and works with all local and state agencies to update policies for the mobile food community.
