51st BDA Annual Celebration: Recap Photo Gallery

On Thursday, February 6th, 400+ civic leaders and innovators gathered to celebrate the makings of a great city. The evening was filled with vibrant energy that honored 51 years of the achievements, growth, and community spirit that make Bellevue so special. Let's relive some of the event's biggest highlights.
The Program

of Waterfront Park.
- Emcees Linda Hoffner and Claire Sumadiwirya arrived in style on all-electric BikeHop and BellHop. They paid homage to Downtown's many achievements in 2024.
- Tim Carr, BDA Board Chair, and Patrick Bannon, BDA President, spoke about our successes and what the future has in store.
- Keynote speaker Joy Shigaki, President of Friends of Waterfront Park, highlighted the power of public-private partnerships and collaboration to create welcoming, inclusive spaces.
- Placemaking Awards were presented to Downtown innovators Skanska, Sterling Realty Organization, Visit Bellevue, and Vulcan Real Estate for their contributions to creating a lively urban core.
Of course, the BDA Annual Celebration would not have been complete without our attendees, whose presence reinforced the deep connection that ties our community together. We also want to extend our deepest gratitude to all of our partners who made this event possible.
