This year marked BDA Member Eastside Baby Corner's (EBC) fourth annual Diaper Derby. 33 businesses competed against each other over the course of several weeks to see who could bring in the most diapers...this year, the event brought in over 110,000 diapers for kids in need!

About Diaper Derby
Diaper Derby is a fun race among local businesses and organizations to collect diapers for children living in poverty and crisis. Not being able to afford enough diapers is a barrier to stability and self-sufficiency for many families. Without diapers, babies cannot participate in early childhood education. Without childcare, parents cannot go to work.
Bringing in the Rolls
BDA Member SAP Concur participated in this year's Diaper Derby and brought in the most diapers across all businesses competing! They did this in a couple of ways. All thirteen floors of the company competed against each other (the floor that brought in the most diapers won a free lunch). On top of this, Erin Hansman, Senior Analyst of Customer Experience, agreed to shave her head if SAP Concur brought in the most diapers.
The Diaper Derby ended last week with SAP Concur crushing the competition. True to her word, Hansman got her head shaved this morning at EBC...and SAP Concur President Mike Eberhard was the one who did it!
A huge round of applause to Eastside Baby Corner, to SAP Concur, and especially to Erin Hansman for all of their fantastic work.
