BDA Breakfast Series Returns In Person As Downtown Talks
The Bellevue Downtown Association (BDA) is proud to produce the Downtown Talks Breakfast Series, focused on what matters now and what’s ahead for Downtown Bellevue. Previously known as the BDA Breakfast Series, Downtown Talks will include six in-person events hosted at the Bellevue Club, from 7:30-9:00 a.m.
The community is invited to hear local business and community leaders discuss issues that impact growth and the making of Downtown’s place. Guests will enjoy a moderated program, plated breakfast, coffee bar and the opportunity to network before and after the talk.
Previous breakfast topics include Microsoft's commitment to affordable housing, Vulcan Real Estate's Bellevue projects, insights from the William D. Ruckelshaus Center, upcoming i-405 projects, and more. The BDA will also host an annual State of the City address in partnership with the City of Bellevue later this spring.
When the breakfast series was postponed in March 2020 due to restrictions on large gatherings, the BDA launched Downtown Talks as a free virtual speaker series. Featured guests included KDC's Kemper Freeman, Bungie's Patrick O'Kelley, Amazon's John Schoettler, Microsoft's Colleen Daly, and others. With COVID-19 restrictions lifting, the BDA looks forward to hosting talks in person in the original breakfast format.
Join us for this month's Downtown Talks on March 29th and hear two experts share insights on downtown vibrancy and understanding growth.
