Alabama-born and Southern-raised, Brett Benton has been obsessed with country blues ever since he was a child, listening to his parents’ and grandparents’ records at an early age. By his teen years, he had discovered a passion for drumming and began learning his way around a slide guitar by his early twenties.
In 2016 he left the South to introduce his own brand of hill country and delta blues around the world. In the Pacific Northwest, he has played many iconic local festivals as well as countless national venues and most recently signed with Seattle’s own Knick Knack Records, where he produced his first studio album "You Got To Pray," released April 2019.
