The Bellevue Downtown Association (BDA) is once again turning up the volume during Downtown Bellevue’s lunch hour. Beginning Tuesday, July 9th, the Virginia Mason Bellevue Medical Center Live at Lunch summer concert series will embark on a 10-week run of free live music every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from noon to 1:30 p.m.
Local bands featuring Americana to rock ‘n roll will play at outdoor plazas and open spaces throughout Downtown Bellevue. The Bellevue Connection will host each Thursday concert. Concert-goers can also enter to win lunch for a year from The Bellevue Collection, with over 80 dining options. Band information and concert locations are listed below, and can be found here.
“Summer in Downtown Bellevue is the perfect time to relax with a friend and listen to live music,” says BDA President Patrick Bannon. “From reggae to blues and country, to disco-soul; there is something for everyone.”
The annual Rockaraoke contest where contestants sing with a live band is August 15th at the Bellevue Connection. Those interested in competing should email events@bellevuedowntown.com. Event information and directions are available on our website or by calling (425) 453-1223. For day-of event updates, follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
