Black Bottle: Bringing Casual Fine Dining to Downtown Bellevue

Ride2Downtown Spotlight:
Black Bottle is Bringing Casual Fine Dining to Downtown Bellevue

Taking the first steps into Black Bottle excites customers for what to expect - a hip, welcoming gastro tavern where you might find your new favorite drink. Pair one of their fun cocktails with a delicious seafood meal, or order a few of their extensive small bites to get the most of their special menu.

“Our tall ceilings and wide open large floor-plan is like none other in the downtown area,” Jaclyn Lensch, Black Bottle's director of operations, said. “We can offer many flexible options for large parties, either pre-planned or walk-ins. Where other restaurants tend to not be able to receive large parties last minute, we pride ourselves in being able to do this.”

‘Everyone is welcome’ would be an appropriate slogan for this inclusive hot-spot - as long as you're 21 and up, this spot wants you with them. There are delicious vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan and nut-free options listed on the menu for anyone who has a dietary restriction or allergy. If you have questions about what is in your order, the staff is happy to help however needed.

The happening business is independently owned by three friends who have been business partners for over 20 years. They also own Jack Sprat/Pizza Poggio in Redmond, Bar Vacilando in Capitol Hill and their flagship Black Bottle in Seattle - celebrating 20 years next year!

“Since the beginning, the owners of Black Bottle have highlighted local ingredients from the Pacific Northwest and sell delicious, shareable meals and drinks at an affordable price,” Lensch said.

Arguably the best time to visit Black Bottle is for their unique late night happy hour. From 9-10 p.m. on Sundays and Mondays, 9 p.m. - 11 p.m. Tuesday - Thursday and Friday - Saturday from 10 p.m. to midnight, shared plates, late night sweets and discounted drinks galore are available.

Chat with friends over a $6 wine or well, or get yourself a cocktail if you’re ‘Feelin’ Frisky’ for a low-priced, upscale experience.

Worry not - if you’re not drinking but still want to experience the warm and lively atmosphere of the restaurant, Black Bottle has more than enough room for you. With just-as-fun mocktails on the ‘N/A Libations’ section of the menu, you are still part of the Black Bottle scene.

Black Bottle has something for everyone, and is an environment that was created for customers to fill. Next time you are in the mood to try something new, check it out in the Avalon Towers on 919 Bellevue Way NE after 3pm everyday.

Want to give them a try? Our Ride2Downtown deal on the week of July 15-21 is offering $1 wines and draft with a purchase of an entree at Black Bottle Bellevue and Redmond. Get your digital coupon at Ride2Downtown.com!
