Chanel Smith had a dream - to open up her own business after years of working in the fashion and retail industry, and bring her fellow Bellevue community members access to the established designers and one-of-a-kind accessories they deserve. So, she made her dream a reality - now, her booming small business, Smith & Main, will be celebrating its six-year anniversary in June.
Smith & Main is a boutique for those who want to stay up to date with the latest fashion trends, while also maintaining a classy, timeless sense of style.
While the shop offers many options for women to find what matches their own personal style, the owner encourages buyers to step out of their comfort zone with her selections from around the world.
“Because of our intimate boutique setting, we also have the ability to connect and get to know each customer that walks through the door,” said owner, Smith.
Exclusive international brands like Cami NYC, MinkPink from Australia and Zadig&Voltaire from France can all be found at Smith & Main. The store carries a variety of items as well, ranging from clothes, to handbags, to jewelry and even perfume.
Not only chic, the boutique Smith & Main was made for Bellevue women with both their style and budget in mind. As Smith herself grew up in the area, she knows her audience well. Shoppers can find both upscale fashion items for a timeless closet, as well as affordable but still chic clothes and accessories for everyday wear.
“At Smith & Main, we aim to provide each client with the best possible shopping experience and a wardrobe that enhances their lifestyle by inspiring confidence and reflecting the best version of themselves,” said Smith.
