Craft beverage connoisseurs, beer lovers and enthusiasts, this one's for you! Travel around local breweries with the Puget Sound Craft Beer Passport, launched by Visit Bellevue. Visitors (and locals!) can discover local brews with the free passport throughout 2021.

With around 80 breweries in just an 8-mile radius of Bellevue, Visit Bellevue knew there was an opportunity to create a unique experience.

“What we started to do was figure out what’s around us that people are interested in. One of the things we found through visitor research was that they’re interested in our world-class beer scene," Brad Jones, Executive Director of Visit Bellevue, said.

One of Visit Bellevue’s missions is to create and inspire memorable experiences for visitors.

“When you look at life through a visitor experience, things can get confusing and hard to do. More so than when you live here,” Jones said. “When someone is here, we need to program experiences for them that are easy and exciting.”

According to Jones, the Puget Sound Craft Beer Passport is just one example of businesses and entrepreneurs coming together to create amazing products, services, and experiences.

“We want to highlight these experiences, promote them, bring them to life, and celebrate them rather than have them be the greatest known secret," Jones said. "We want to welcome the world, and through these types of experiences we are able to do that.”

To launch the free passport, Visit Bellevue and their partners are offering a free Puget Sound Beer Passport pint glass for the first 100 people who check-in at 12 of the participating brewery’s locations.
