Dishing the Details: A Bellevue Kick for Seattle Restaurant Week
Twice a year, the region’s restaurants gear up for the mecca of all foodie events: Seattle Restaurant Week. Known for amazing prix fixed menus at unbeatable prices, this dining extravaganza is the perfect occasion to sip on something refreshing while trying the best of what our restaurants offer. Menus are set at $20 for lunch and $35 for dinner and can feature anything a restaurant wants to offer, including the traditional in-house three-course meal experience, make-at-home kits, or takeout.
For this fall’s Restaurant Week, a collection of Heart of Bellevue locations are bringing the experience to the Eastside – pulling together creative menus with show-stopping specials. Here’s who’s participating and the mouthwatering offerings you can expect:
Andiamo Ristorante
Classic Italian
Known for their classical dishes with a northwest kick, Andiamo invites the flavors of Italy to your table (in the restaurant or at your home). For Restaurant Week, Andiamo crafted a special three-course menu with several of their popular items, including their hearty spaghetti carbonara and famous tiramisu.
Cantinetta Bellevue
Modern Italian
Modern, warm, inviting, delicious. Those four words describe Cantinetta’s dining room and menu! Featuring inventive Italian dishes and a wine list that inspires, it’s a perfect choice for a date night or cozy night at home with takeout.
Duke’s Seafood
Seafood/Americana
Always a favorite for the freshest of the northwest, Duke’s downtown location is serving up Restaurant Week specials for both lunch and dinner. Featuring 100% sustainably-caught fish, their award-winning clam chowder and delectable rockfish taco made the special menu.
Seastar Restaurant and Raw Bar
Seafood/Fusion
Seastar knows what they do best: create dishes across traditions. We can’t wait to sample their Restaurant Week menu, featuring a hot and sour Thai shrimp soup, pumpkin gnocchi and their (absolutely amazing) passion fruit panna cotta.
Solarium Kitchen & Bar
New American
From popcorn shrimp to foraged mushroom risotto, Solarium’s Restaurant Week menu impresses. It also offers a ton of choices to mix-and-match from, including six different entrees. The best part? You’ll have plenty of time to try them all.
Suite Restaurant and Lounge
New American
Tucked away in the Hyatt Regency, this family-owned bar and restaurant offers swank vibes alongside a fantastic Restaurant Week menu. Choose from an eclectic mix of appetizers and entrees with a glorious dessert to finish…. Fresh berries anlaise, anyone?
The Lakehouse
Gourmet
One of Bellevue’s best, The Lakehouse is serving up the perfect autumn dinner options for the event. Choose from a roasted pumpkin soup with sage cream or a fall-inspired salad to start, then chow down on a dry-aged steak or mushroom agnolotti with truffled corn.
Hungry yet? Seattle Restaurant Week kicks off October 25 and runs through November 21. While we may be partial to our fantastic Bellevue participants above, browse the full list of great restaurants too. Bon Appetit!
