Evergreens' New Lemon-Centric Menu Items Helps Wishes Come True

July 10, 2024 - by Rachel Pfalzer

For salad lovers across the PNW, healthy eatery Evergreens is likely a lunchtime favorite. The local chain’s warm bowls, salads, and wraps are a fresh choice that has just gotten even tastier – Evergreens has announced a summer-long partnership with Make-A-Wish Alaska & Washington and Make-A-Wish Oregon that includes new lemon-y menu items. $1 of proceeds from each special entrée sold will go directly to Make-A-Wish.

Select locations, including one of Downtown Bellevue’s very own, will now offer store-front lemonade stands and in-store lemon grab prizes to attract customers of all ages. Inspired by the joy of the homegrown lemonade stand, Evergreens seeks to bring people together for a worthwhile cause in a fun and zesty way. Through this partnership, their commitment to harnessing the power of community shines through.

Make-A-Wish focuses on turning the dreams of children with life-threatening health conditions into reality. They’re in the business of granting wishes – whether a child wants to make a splash through aqua therapy, fly high at the space center, or experience the magic of Disneyland, Make-A-Wish wants to make it happen. By turning sourness into something sweet, they embody the spirit of the lemonade stand.

“We are so appreciative of every single effort to grant life-changing wishes to local children with critical illnesses,” said Laila Cook, CEO of Make-A-Wish Oregon. “This partnership with Evergreens means even more because they are caring for our community one healthy meal at a time. In addition to my personal forever love of a great salad, I am specifically a huge fan of Evergreens as a company. Win-win partnerships are the absolute best.”

All Evergreens locations will offer these new citrus-centered dishes until September 16th:

  • Citrus Got Real: Romaine + mixed greens, grilled chicken, charred broccoli, roasted yellow tomatoes, green onion, jalapoeno, feta cheese, cashews, spicy lemon tahini
  • Straight Outta Sorrento: Wrap, quinoa, arugula, salami, garbanzo beans, grape tomatoes, pickled onions, pepperoncini, mozzarella pearls, balsamic glaze, lemon basil vini
  • All the Peels: Jasmine rice, charred broccoli, grilled steak, red bell pepper, carrots, green onion, crispy onions, Sriracha, lemon ginger sauce
  • Side items: Lemonade and lemon cookie

Additionally, certain locations invite their customers to enjoy a cup of fresh-squeezed lemonade with their meal. Each pop-up lemonade stand will be staffed by previous Make-A-Wish recipients who can tell you about their experiences with the organization firsthand. Come taste some sweetness at:
