Smith is proud to call Bellevue her home and has many years of experience in the fashion industry, as well as a degree in retail merchandising and product development to back it up. In 2018, she fulfilled her dream to open her very own clothing boutique to help make every woman look and feel their best. Bellevue was an ideal location to start.

“I love the community here and knew that a fun, stylish, and locally-owned women’s clothing store like Smith & Main would thrive in Bellevue,” Smith said..

Like many other businesses, Smith & Main closed their doors to the public in late March when the statewide closure and shutdowns happened. This had a huge effect on foot traffic around the store, but Smith recognizes her loyal clientele didn’t allow much of a hindrance on sales, unlike many retailers around the country.

With the global health crisis, Smith & Main has shifted more of their focus to online shopping and social media marketing. None of this could be possible without the love and support from the community and clientele, Smith said.

“Every comment, every sale, and every person that walks through our doors is so appreciated and something that we do not take for granted,” Smith said.

Currently, Smith & Main offers free shipping, curbside pickup, and local delivery on all orders.
