First Tech Federal Credit Union Returns to Downtown Bellevue

December 9, 2024 - by Rachel Pfalzer

Bellevue is excited to welcome one of the country’s largest credit unions back to Downtown’s banking hub: First Tech Federal Credit Union, a member-owned institution whose model is designed to cater to customers in the technology industry. Opening on December 20th, 2024, First Tech’s newest location will be situated in the innovative 555 Tower. According to Chris Mantie, VP of Retail Sales and Services, this move into such a key area is intentional.

“The proximity to industry leaders and a forward-thinking community [in Downtown Bellevue] allows us to stay at the forefront of technological advancements, ensuring that our offerings remain relevant and competitive in the financial industry,” says Mantie.

The credit union previously had a location in Downtown Bellevue, and their return signifies a reconnection with an area experiencing rapid growth in the tech sphere. The First Tech Downtown Bellevue Experience Center will be surrounded by other major credit unions like WSECU and BECU, giving them a unique opportunity to highlight how their services differ from their neighbors. Though First Tech’s client base is highly diverse, Bellevue’s population of tech workers are specifically fortunate and stand to benefit from their tailored services. Larger businesses can also enjoy their commercial lending options and business accounts designed to support their growth and operational needs.
