Welcome back to the Heart of Bellevue. Although times are still uncertain, we are reminding our Downtown community that Bellevue is ready to be safely explored and re-discovered. A lot has changed in the last 18+ months. There are new eateries, different parking options, added developments and new exciting events. Downtown may look different, but Bellevue is still as vibrant and resilient as ever.
We are continuing to showcase the stories and events that bring Downtown Bellevue together. Throughout September, we'll be highlighting 30+ activities taking place throughout Downtown. Take a look, and we're excited to see you back in Bellevue!
ARTS AND CULTURE
Bellevue Downtown Arts Market
When: Sept. 4, 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. | Sept. 5, 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. | Sept. 6: 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Where: Downtown Bellevue between NE 6th Street and 106th Ave NE
For the 31st year, the Bellevue Downtown Association is proud to present the Bellevue Downtown Arts Market, an outdoor market of over 110 juried sculpture, jewelry, home décor, wood and glass work, textile, and other local artists. Live music will return to the Arts Market weekend, supported by Amazon. It will range from music around the world, including folk, blues, and flamenco guitar. Food trucks will also be on-site.
Bellwether 2021 Art + Experience
When: Sept. 9 - 19
Where: Events spread out around Downtown Bellevue
Bellwether 2021 is hosting a month of free performances, workshops, sculpture, video and glass art displays at the Bellevue Arts Museum, around Downtown Bellevue, and online. Learn more on their website.
KidsQuest's Clay & Cocktails

When: Sept. 24
Where: KidsQuest Children's Museum
Warm up with a cocktail (or two!) and learn to create beautiful leaf bowls with an educator. Clay pieces will be kiln-fired and ready for pick up one week after event. No prior clay experience necessary. Purchase tickets online.

Bellevue Farmers Market
When: Every Thursday, 3-7 p.m.
Where: Bellevue Presbyterian Church Parking Lot
BFM operates a seasonal Thursday farmers market, held every week rain or shine from May - October. Each market day is composed of its own unique mix of vendors offering seasonal fruits & vegetables, cut flowers, fresh meats, one-of-a-kind artisan goods, and tasty cuisine.
Whisk Cooking Classes
When: Sept, 1 - 30
Where: Whisk in Old Bellevue (10385 Main St.)
Whisk opened a cooking school with the goal in mind of connecting people with the joy of cooking, eating and entertaining. Each class is structured to provide full hands-on experience in a modern kitchen. Guests are encouraged to ask questions and immerse themselves in the process of cooking, and at the same time have fun!
MUSIC
Bellevue Beats Music Series
When: Sept. 1 & Sept. 8, 12 - 1
Where: Various locations around Downtown Bellevue
Find a little rhythm and drown out the blues with Bellevue Beats: the new (and biggest ever) music series! Catch the last two performances in Downtown Bellevue on the first two Wednesdays of September.
Resonance Event: Bill Anschell
When: Sept. 17
Where: Resonance at SOMA Towers
On Sept. 17, Bill Anschell will perform live from Resonance Events located in SOMA Towers. This musical performance will include great sound of Jazz, featuring Jeff Johnson on bass and D'Vonne Lewis on drums.

Meydenbauer Bay Park Boathouse Rentals

Where: Meydenbauer Bay Park
Rent a kayak, canoe, or stand-up paddleboard and take a break from daily stress at the REI Boathouse. Meydenbauer Bay Park also offers wooded pathways, open lawns, and views of the surrounding lake and greenery from the shoreline and the pedestrian pier.

Discover 40+ dining destinations with outdoor seating across Downtown Bellevue. The program runs through the summer, featuring on-street, sidewalk, parking lot, and private property patios. In addition to the collective on-street expansion of space on Main Street, more than 40 other restaurants are offering outdoor dining across the city.
Spring District Food Trucks

Daniel's Broiler Bellevue Bourbon Bash
When: Sept. 18, 5:00p.m.
Where: Daniel's Broiler
The 10th Annual Bellevue Bourbon Bash is one-of-a-kind, with one of the largest collections of bourbon and whiskey on the West Coast. Over 100 bourbons will be on display and available for sampling with a small collection of Pappy Van Winkle. Local distillers and brand representatives will answer your questions and give the history of the bourbons. Make a reservation online!
