Holiday Ice Skating Returns November 17 in Downtown Bellevue
Bellevue Downtown Ice Rink presented by Symetra extends skating season
The Bellevue Downtown Association (BDA) today announced the region’s largest open-air ice skating experience will welcome the first skaters at 3:30 p.m. on November 17, 2023.
The Bellevue Downtown Ice Rink presented by Symetra also returns with a longer season, offering 60 days of ice skating through January 15, 2024. Set in the picturesque Bellevue Downtown Park, the ice rink is covered for all weather skating and a short walk to nearby restaurants and shopping. Advance tickets and season passes are available at bellevueicerink.com. Walk-up tickets are limited, and visitors are encouraged to purchase online.
The ice rink has been a signature holiday tradition in the heart of Bellevue since 1997. This season will feature over 9,000 square feet of real ice, themed nights, on-site concessions, and free parking. Visitors will also enjoy free skate lessons, courtesy of Microsoft, for all ages on select evenings.
“The Bellevue Downtown Ice Rink has always been a hub of holiday merriment, bringing the community together to take part in this seasonal pastime,” Mike Ogliore, vice president of BDA events and operations said. “Extending the season is our way of providing families, friends and visitors more time to create lasting memories on the ice.”
Holiday traditions and festivities abound in Downtown Bellevue. Beyond ice skating, visitors can marvel at Garden d’Lights at the Bellevue Botanical Garden, celebrate nightly at Snowflake Lane presented by The Bellevue Collection, enjoy Meydenbauer Center Theatre’s holiday performances, and create wonders at KidsQuest Children’s Museum’s Gingerbread Workshops.

Love unlimited skating? Season Passes will be available for purchase on bellevueicerink.com! Pass holders will not need to make reservations and can enter anytime during posted public hours.
