The Bellevue Downtown Association mourns the loss of Nancy Luft Rising, the BDA’s second executive director (from 1978-1984), and the first woman elected to Bellevue City Council. She is remembered for her decisive role and forthright approach in shaping the organization and the downtown we enjoy today.
