KidsQuest Children's Museum Host First Annual Imagination Celebration
KidsQuest Children's Museum welcomes you to experience the wonder of discovery, the power of play and the joy of offering innovative educational opportunities for all. The virtual weeklong adult fundraiser began on Sept. 27 and plans to end on Oct. 2 with a live stream event at 7:00 p.m. The live stream includes several different programs like a “raise the paddle” auction, insight into KidsQuest's mission, fun prizes and more. Registration is completely free. Director of Development, Heather Trescases, said the Imagination Celebration event is an occasion to raise critical funds to support KidsQuest’s work in the community.
“Every day at the museum, children unleash their natural curiosity and creativity through a playful hands-on learning experience. The Imagination Celebration does the same for adults,” she said.
Many items are being auctioned including a Mexican beach getaway, free daily coffee for a year at Café Cesura, a Kraken fan package with tickets, a forest theater experience and more. Bidding is not the only way to donate. You have a choice to choose the amount of money you want to contribute or purchase a special item. This option includes a $75 celebration box full of fun swag like signature cocktail mixing ingredients and a $1,000 shopping spree prize drawing donated by The Bellevue Collection.
“Although this is a virtual event, we promise to bring the fun, ingenuity, joy, and as always, the 'play' that KidsQuest is known for! We are looking forward to a great night of FUNdraising together,” Trecases said.
