Join The Bellevue Collection on Saturday, June 8 at Love You to Pieces, a brick building event, for a hands-on experience to explore the wonder of building with bricks. Families can enjoy a brick play area, “Ticket to Ride” builders workshops, Make and Take builds and creative brick displays in storefronts.

“We wanted to create a special experience for parents and children to bond over the joy of brick building,” says Jennifer Leavitt, Vice President of Marketing for The Bellevue Collection. "Love You to Pieces is all about fostering connection and creativity through fun, hands-on activities that families can enjoy together. We can't wait to see the amazing creations these parents and kids create together."

Love You to Pieces encourages family fun while creating with bricks. The event caters to various skill levels, ensuring there’s something for everyone. The one-day event includes:

  • Brick Play Area (Bellevue Square’s Center Court, First Level from 10 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.): For the youngest innovators, enjoy bins of bricks to design and create a colorful masterpiece. Admission is based on space availability.
  • LEGO Make and Take Build Event (Bellevue Square’s Center Court, Second Level from 10:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. or while supplies last): Build a free LEGO mini kit to take home! One mini kit per child with adult present, while supplies last.
  • “Ticket to Ride” Builders Workshops (Bellevue Square’s Center Court, First Level): For the more experienced builder, join a “Ticket to Ride” themed workshop with the help of Bricks 4 Kidz, a local organization focused on learning through play, and STEAMobile, a nonprofit that creates enrichment opportunities through Science, Technology, Engineering, Art-Architecture-Agriculture and Math. Pre-registration is required for each child and an adult must be present. Sign up for beginner and advanced workshops at bellevuecollection.com/brickworkshops.
    • Beginner Builders (Ages 4-5): Sign up for the “Tilt-a-Whirl” Technic Workshop Beginner from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. or “Swing Boat” Technic Workshop from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

In addition, from May 28 – June 8, visitors to Bellevue Square’s Center Court can capture their love for bricks by taking selfies, photos with dad and more in front of a brick-themed photo booth. Plus, guests can experience more creative displays across The Bellevue Collection by picking up “Yellow Brick Lane” maps and ballots at Guest Services. By following the map, guests are guided to one-of-a-kind creations built by each shop and are encouraged to cast their vote for a chance to win a $300 LEGO gift card. No purchase necessary.
