Mirra: New Immersive Social Entertainment Venue Coming to Downtown Bellevue
Mirra, a new-to-market social entertainment concept, announced it is opening its first U.S. location at The Bellevue Collection this August. The entertainment center utilizes virtual reality (VR) and giant 8K LED screen walls offering customers a one-of-a-kind, immersive party game experience. Located on the third floor of Lincoln Square South, the expansive space measures up to 10,708 square foot -- accommodating up to 482 people -- and will feature a full kitchen and bar with a menu of world-inspired shareables and hand-crafted cocktails. The arena welcomes all ages until 6 p.m., transforming into a 21+ nightlife venue until midnight close.
Interactive games at mirra are projected live from the player’s VR headset, with each action mirrored by avatars on a panoramic display. Observers are encouraged to watch thrilling action as players compete as teams in fully immersive worlds. It is perfect for both competitive players and casual fun-seekers. Mirra is not just a game—it’s a spectacle.
The space accommodates large groups by reservation, making mirra an ideal space for hosting groups of friends, corporate team building, birthday parties and celebrations.
Mirra features party games in a game show format designed for adults and fit for families and children. Up to eight participants can join in the action simultaneously as a team, with up to 32 players for a full competition. Mirra continues to develop new games and will launch with six games, accommodating a variety of skill levels.
“Our venue takes the party game concept to new heights,” says Sam Wang, founder of mirra. "We're merging VR technology with a vibrant social scene to create unforgettable events. It's not just about playing the game, it's about the shared energy and excitement – a captivating experience for players and observers alike."
Mirra designs, programs and develops all of its games. It will launch with tech-immersed party games in which players can dance, hunttreasure, dodge lasers, hit jackpots, play hockey or match bubbles by throwing balls and hitting targets. Games are designed for a variety of skill levels and players can play 60-minute sessions, with teams of up to eight, playing against other teams in the arena. In each round, two players from one team tackle specific challenges together.
Complementing the high-tech gaming concept, the mirra space features multisensory, interactive technology including panoramic 8K LED screens, displaying different environments throughout the guest experience, from tropical forests and beaches to night clubs.
“The Bellevue Collection sees this launch as an unprecedented opportunity to host the world’s first social gameplay arena right here in Bellevue,” said Jennifer Leavitt, VP ofMarketing for Kemper Development Company. “Mirra has designed a game-changing and genre-defying social entertainment experience that aligns perfectly with The Collection’s aim to bring the best in dining, shopping and entertainment to the region.”
