Husband and wife duo Chen and Trang, founders of Coffeholic House, have watched their business blossom over the past four years. Featured in Forbes’ 30 Under 30 in August of 2023, the couple visualizes unlimited possibilities for the future of their thriving venture. Their dreams were built upon a commitment to authenticity and community support, helping them open three locations soon after the café’s conception.

Originating in Seattle, the country’s coffee capital, Coffeeholic House opened its Bellevue location last year to widen its reach to customers on the Eastside. Since then, it has become a must-visit destination for those looking to leave behind their everyday drip coffee for something with a bit more flair: the café boasts creative drinks such as the luscious Coffeeholic Dream, the Signature Phin Coffee, and the decadent White-Hazel Latte. Each drink is inspired by Chen and Trang’s favorite flavors from their Vietnamese heritage like pandan and ube, and all their beans are sourced directly from Da Lat, Vietnam. They know that brainstorming unique offerings is what keeps their business fresh and their customers coming back for more. 

Becoming immersed in the Downtown Bellevue community has paved the way for Coffeeholic House to engage in new partnerships and cross promotions.

“These have helped introduce our business to Bellevue locals and build relationships with our Bellevue downtown neighbors,” Chen and Trang say. “Our team makes an effort to support and partner with other local businesses like Preme Team Bellevue and Belden Cafe.”

The café has recently introduced delivery to be more accessible to its Eastside customers, acknowledging that limited seating options and parking may prevent people from visiting in person. However, Chen and Trang hope the introduction of the 2 Line will create opportunities for locals to check out new businesses they may not have been able to before.
