ZenRock Fitness Expands Unique Workout Experience to Bellevue
The combination of warm-colored walls, striking abstract art and soft textile rugs creates a calming atmosphere inside the newly opened ZenRock Fitness in Downtown Bellevue. Owner Petra Jahn is excited to expand their workout experience for the first time since they debuted 14 years ago in Redmond. She believes a peaceful fitness studio is exactly what the Downtown community needs.
“The last two years of being in a pandemic has made stress levels go up,” she said. “For a place like Bellevue, we understand the importance of releasing that stress and getting people back to a more balanced place.”
While some enjoy the community element of a workout, others may prefer a private experience. ZenRock Fitness offers both. The studio is equipped with personal rooms for high-energy, one-on-one sessions along with open floor space for those who enjoy group classes.
“Whatever you’re looking for in your fitness journey, we strive to provide a broad range of fitness and personal services,” Jahn said. “This space is meant to inspire confidence and build strength.”
ZenRock Fitness also takes health and wellness beyond the studio. While they provide the usual yoga sessions and personal training, they also offer yoga adventure retreats around the world. These trips explore the balance of building healthy habits and maintaining an active lifestyle with the added bonus of food, drinks and friends. Since 2015, ZenRock Fitness has led dozens of retreats in Greece, Portugal, Italy, Indonesia and Costa Rica. They plan to host a retreat in Spain this year.
“Fitness is not limited to one thing. It includes the food we eat, how we cook our foods and the atmosphere we’re in,” she said. “Our retreats offer a special opportunity for people to explore how different cultures live healthy lives.”
Learn more about ZenRock Fitness at their grand opening celebration this Saturday, February 26 from 4-6 p.m. Guests will have a chance to mingle with their team, try wine from Damsel Cellars and enjoy small bites.
